In November 2024, Cwmni Egino proudly hosted a forum ’Seizing the Nuclear Opportunity’—a landmark collaboration event bringing together regional stakeholders, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore how North Wales can harness the transformative potential of new nuclear investment. 

Held in Hendre Hall Tal Y Bont in conjunction with Wales Nuclear Forum, the event created a dynamic platform for dialogue and insight, focused on unlocking long-term economic, social, and environmental benefits for local communities.

With growing momentum behind the UK’s net zero targets, the discussions centred on how North Wales can play a leading role in the next phase of nuclear development. From supply chain growth and skills development to infrastructure readiness and community engagement, the event highlighted the region’s strengths—and the steps needed to fully realise its potential.
