Sioned is Director Business and Regions, within the Welsh Government leading a team responsible for supporting businesses, nurturing relationships and improving the development and impact of local investment opportunities. Business & Regions is home to the Business Wales platform and Government sponsor for the Development Bank of Wales and Cwmni Egino (Trawsfynydd) of which Sioned is a Board member. She is the Government Senior Responsible Owner for the Welsh City and Growth Deals

Until June 2017, Sioned was Chief Executive Officer of the Welsh European Funding Office (WEFO) with responsibility for leading the strategic implementation of the £300 million European Structural Fund programmes in Wales and for shaping and implementing Welsh Government regional economic development policies and programmes beyond EU transition.

A Chartered Surveyor by background, Sioned has over 25 years’ experience in public and private sector project delivery. Sioned is a Director of International Business Wales, Head of Profession (Project Delivery) for the Welsh Government and provides executive coaching and mentoring support in both Welsh and English, across the wider public sector.

Rob Davies spent 25 years in the Royal Navy before working more than 20 years in the UK Civil Nuclear Industry, supporting the development of the UK’s new nuclear programme with international partners, as CEO & COO.

Alan Raymant yw Prif Weithredwr Cwmni Egino. Mae ganddo dros 35 mlynedd o brofiad yn y sector pŵer, gan ddal swyddi gweithredol uwch mewn cynhyrchu confensiynol, ynni adnewyddadwy, dosbarthu a datblygu ynni niwclear.

Cyn ymuno â Chwmni Egino, roedd Alan yn Brif Swyddog Gweithredol prosiect niwclear Bradwell B ac yn gyfarwyddwr anweithredol Sizewell C.
Sefydlodd Alan Pŵer Niwclear Horizon yn 2009 fel menter ar y cyd yn y DU rhwng E.ON ac RWE ac arweiniodd y busnes drwy’r gwerthiant i Hitachi yn 2012. Sefydlodd Horizon fel datblygwr hynod gredadwy o ynni niwclear newydd, gan adeiladu tîm profiadol o dros 320 o staff.

Mae’n Beiriannydd Siartredig ac yn Gymrawd y Sefydliad Peirianneg a Thechnoleg a Sefydliad y Peirianwyr Cemegol.

Elliw Williams

Head of Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

Elliw joined Cwmni Egino as Head of Stakeholder Engagement and Communications in April 2022. As part of the Senior Leadership team, Elliw oversees all engagement and communications activity, and is Cwmni Egino’s lead on social value.

Previously she held a senior communications role with Natural Resources Wales, and was Co-Director of ATOM PR , which Elliw set up in 2002 to provide strategic communications advice and hands-on support for clients across the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Born and bred in Gwynedd, she is passionate about socio-economic growth and delivering tangible benefits for communities in North Wales.

Tom Hurford

Head of Project Development

On secondment from multinational consultancy Mace, Tom will lead the programme of development work required to enable a decision to invest in the construction of a new nuclear power station at Trawsfynydd by the end of the decade.

Tom is an Engineering Project Manager with experience across Client, Professional Consultancy and Main Contractor in the development, consenting and construction of Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, across the Nuclear New Build, Gas and Electricity Transmission sectors.

Having started his career as a graduate with Horizon Nuclear Power, he spent approximately 6 years working on developing and preparing the site for new nuclear, he then spent 5 years in the Electricity Transmission sector working across projects in South West England and London.

Most recently as Lead EPC (Engineer, Procure & Construct) Project Manager for Mace he was responsible for overseeing the multi-million pound reinforcements required to the National Grid to facilitate an Offshore Wind connection into the North Wales network.

Lisa Birks

Business Manager

Lisa joined Cwmni Egino as their Business Manager in October 2023. Educated to degree level, Lisa brings a wealth of Office Management experience with her having managed daily operations for a contact centre within Civil Service, leading the team to success as Customer Service Team of the year 2022 and a runner up as Team Leader of the year 2023.

Prior to working in Civil Service, she worked for almost a decade in Retail Banking.

Fluent in Welsh and living in Gwynedd, she has a genuine passion to drive business to create sustainable job opportunities for our community and for the future of her children.
